About Forever Connected

Forever Connected was born from one powerful belief everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and included.

The Founder

A passion for meaningful connection

Lisa’s passion for connection and communication led her to develop Forever Connected.

Lisa heard about signing with babies when her son, now in his 30s, was three years old. Disappointed that she missed the opportunity to sign with her infant, Lisa never forgot the quote she read on the back of a book: "We condemn our children to an extra year of non-communication simply because their vocal cords have not developed."

Five years later, Lisa had the opportunity to go back to school and decided to study sign language. That led to becoming a sign language interpreter, and 25 years later, she is here to share what she knows to bridge the gaps in communication with little ones.

The Journey

How Forever Connected Came to Life

1993

The Beginning

Lisa first learned about signing with babies when her son was just three years old. Although she missed the chance to use it with him as an infant, the idea left a lasting impact.

1995

A Life-Changing Quote

Lisa came across a line that stopped her in her tracks: "We condemn our children to an extra year of non-communication simply because their vocal cords have not developed." That quote stayed with her for decades.

1998

A New Path

Lisa returned to school and chose to study sign language. What began as a personal calling quickly became a professional one, leading her into the world of interpretation and communication support.

2023

Teaching the World

After 25 years as a professional sign language interpreter, Lisa began sharing what she had learned with families everywhere through social media — and the response was immediate and overwhelming.

2026

Forever Connected

Forever Connected was created to carry that mission forward — through meaningful apparel, educational content, and a growing community of families learning to sign with their little ones every day.

Our Mission

Helping families connect before the first word.

Forever Connected exists to bridge the gap between what babies feel and what they can express. Through meaningful sign language apparel and educational resources, we help parents, grandparents, and caregivers build calmer, more connected homes from the very beginning.

Every piece we create is designed to spark conversations, spread awareness, and remind families that communication starts long before the first spoken word. When a parent wears a Forever Connected piece, it opens a door — to a question, a conversation, and sometimes a completely life-changing discovery for another family.

What families are saying

Meaningful stories from parents building stronger communication through signing with babies.

  • I'm currently teaching my 1-year-old son the basic signs & it's so wonderful to see him figure it out. It isn't always easy to get them to do it, but when they start getting it, it's so fun, & you can tell they're proud of themselves.

  • After using the eat sign consistently since starting our speech therapy my toddler did it back and said Eee 😢 so proud of them. Thank you for the lessons

  • “I have an 8-month-old, and as soon as I heard this, I sobbed so hard. Postpartum was so difficult. I love this account—have an amazing day! 🧡💛”

  • Every time I watch your videos my daughter stops and listens and watches when she hears your voice. I watch them a few times to learn the signs and i show them to her

  • “This is so helpful. I’m working with a non‑verbal toddler, and finding you has literally changed our world. We’ve been waiting for speech therapy for a year, and your lessons have been a lifesaver for our family.”

  • “I just started teaching my 8 month old the sign for “more” 5 days ago, the literal NEXT DAY he recognized it. We are 5 days in and he totally understands and I do it with his hands too. He loves it during snack :)”
